Long Story Short:
- Most men diagnosed with Prostate Cancer will not die from Prostate Cancer.
- Heart disease is more likely to be a cause of death in men.
- Smart Nutrition, Lifestyle, Exercise, Stress, Supplementation is the best way to prevent prostate cancer
Men, worried that prostate cancer (CaP) will kill you? A new study shows most men with CaP won’t die from it. However, CaP (especially aggressive CaP) must be taken seriously using both conventional and integrative approaches.
A new 15 year study studied two groups of men, one was screened yearly for CaP using prostate exams and PSA levels and the other group did not receive annual screenings. There was no change in mortality among both groups, meaning screening men for prostate cancer did not reduce death rates from prostate cancer.
This does NOT mean you can skip your doctors visit. It means that PSA is not a great way to screen for aggressive prostate cancer. Yet it is one of the only tools we have and it can be a great tool for practitioners. There are better tests at detecting the aggressive types of CaP, such as the 4Kscore.
Eat well, move daily, sleep lots, stress less, supplement smart.
Thats the formula to prostate cancer hates.
